Vegan Queso

We’re getting all up in your snack food with this spicy vegan Queso anyone can enjoy. Serve alongside Que Pasa Blue Corn Tortilla Chips as a satisfying snack or mealtime appetizer to whet the appetite before the main course.

1 ½ cups cashews
1 jalapeño, deseeded
2 cloves garlic
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp chili pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
½-1 cup water
1 bag Que Pasa Blue Corn Tortilla Chips


In a bowl, soak the cashews in boiling water for 10-20 minutes until soft.

Add the soaked cashews, jalapeno, garlic, water, cayenne pepper, chili pepper, salt, nutritional yeast, and water to a food processor. Blend until smooth (approximately 10-15 minutes).

Serve with Que Pasa Blue Corn Tortilla Chips.

*Note: can be reheated in a microwave for 2-3 minutes.
