Ingredients:

Maple Baked Pears:

  • 4 ripe Bartlett pears, peeled, cored and halved
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Pecan Crunch Topping:

  • ½ cup Nature’s Path Flax Plus Pumpkin Raisin Crunch
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Directions:

Maple Baked Pears

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line small roasting pan with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange pears in single layer cut sides down in prepared pan.
  3. Whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, 1 tbsp water, lemon juice and cinnamon; brush over pears.
  4. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until fork-tender, basting occasionally with maple syrup mixture.

Pecan Crunch Topping

  1. Meanwhile, combine cereal, pecans, brown sugar and coconut oil.

To Finish

  1. Turn pears cut sides up; sprinkle evenly with topping.
  2. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until topping is golden brown and crisp.
  3. Serve with yogurt.
