Ingredients:
Maple Baked Pears:
- 4 ripe Bartlett pears, peeled, cored and halved
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
Pecan Crunch Topping:
- ½ cup Nature’s Path Flax Plus Pumpkin Raisin Crunch
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Directions:
Maple Baked Pears
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line small roasting pan with parchment paper.
- Arrange pears in single layer cut sides down in prepared pan.
- Whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, 1 tbsp water, lemon juice and cinnamon; brush over pears.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until fork-tender, basting occasionally with maple syrup mixture.
Pecan Crunch Topping
- Meanwhile, combine cereal, pecans, brown sugar and coconut oil.
To Finish
- Turn pears cut sides up; sprinkle evenly with topping.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until topping is golden brown and crisp.
- Serve with yogurt.
