Cinnamon Molasses Oat Jars

Apples and cinnamon goodness, drizzled with rich molasses - this is the perfect grab and go breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

  • 240 g almond milk (or any dairy free milk)
  • 2 medium size apples, cut into chunks
  • 90 g rolled oats
  • 65 g chopped pecans
  • 25 g blackstrap molasses
  • 20 g maple syrup
  • 15 g flax seeds
  • 1.3 g cinnamon
 

Directions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine oats, cinnamon, almond milk and maple syrup. Mix gently and soak for 10 minutes to allow the oats to soften.
  2. Meanwhile, in another small bowl, toss together apple flax seeds and pecans.
  3. To serve, divide the oats into 2 bowls, top with apple pecan mixture and a drizzle of molasses. Enjoy immediately or store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
