Nature’s Path Honoured with BC Food Processor’s 2015 Hall of Fame Award

Nature’s Path has been honoured as the recipient of the 2015 BC Food Processor’s Hall of Fame Award. This prestigious award is presented annually to British Columbian companies that have been in operation for over 25 years with a commitment to prosperity and environmental sustainability.

For Nature’s Path, this recognition is a nod to their triple bottom line of environmental sustainability, social responsibility and financial viability, as well as their vision to be a trusted name for quality organic foods in every home.

Other esteemed nominees of the BC FPA Hall of Fame Award included Oppenheimer Group and Organika Health Products.

On behalf of our 557 valued team members, beloved customers and trusted suppliers, my wife, Ratana and I offer our humble thanks for this recognition,” says Arran Stephens, co-founder and co-CEO. “As a family-owned, BC-based company, our ability to nourish fellow Canadians with safe, healthy, organic food for over 30 years is what we are most proud of. We appreciate the recognition of this mission.”

For the founders and co-CEOs of Nature’s Path, Arran and Ratana Stephens, the journey to winning such a significant industry award was long, but worthwhile. When Nature’s Path began out of the back of the Stephens’ vegetarian restaurant in Vancouver in 1985, they didn’t have experience making ready-to-eat cereal and faced many challenges along the way. However, what they did have was an unwavering dream to leave the earth better than they found it.

Today, thanks to their supporters and amazing team members, Nature’s Path is the largest organic breakfast and snack food company in North America, helping keep many tonnes of persistent pesticides out of the soil and off Canadians’ plates.
