If you caught our last blog post about the health benefits of hemp seeds, then you’re probably eager to get your hands on more of them, and we are right there with you. Hemp seeds are a great source of protein, fiber, and healthy fats that will help keep you satiated. Here are a few of our favorite products with hemp seeds and how we like to use them:
1. Qi’a Superfood Cereal
Simple, organic, nutritious ingredients and infinite possibilities for how to eat them. We like to add Qi’a into oatmeal, smoothies, on top of salads and on avocado toast. It’s easy to toss onto any meal for and extra boost of nutrition and crunch, but we have also incorporated it into some great recipes:
- Qi’a Crusted Tofu
- Chocolate Trail Mix Breakfast Cookies
- Super Seed Almond Butter
- Tex Mex Layered Qi’a Salad in a Jar
- Dark Chocolate Cranberry Bark
2. Hemp Plus Granola
Don’t underestimate this simple granola, it’s satisfying with some fresh berries and almons milk or topped on a smoothie bowl. Plus, be sure to try one of the tasty recipes below:
- Blueberry Banana Hemp Granola Parfait
- Healthy Granola “Cookie” Butter
- Hemp Plus Falafel
- Breakfast Parfait Pops
- Chocolate Energy Bites
- Kale Caesar Salad with Crunchy Hemp Croutons
3. Qi’a Oatmeal
No added sugar and lots of added superfoods make these oatmeals a favorite. Conveniently packaged in individual servings, they’re awesome for bringing on the go. But if you’re not in a hurry, why not try one of these recipes:
4. Sunrise Chocolate Biscuits
The newest addition to our family of hemp products are the Dark Chocolate and Coconut Sunrise Biscuits. (The Blueberry and Honey flavors have chia seeds instead – which are also amazingly nutritious). Chocolate and coconut make this snack feel indulgent, but with 5g of protein and 20g of whole grains they’ll keep you fueled and ready to take on your day.
