By now, LifeStream was an established brand, and had expanded their repertoire to include more variety (vegetarian, whole grain lasagna, anyone?). Ratana, as entrepreneurial as Arran, opened a natural restaurant, "Mother Nature’s Inn" in the back of the Lifestream store. They also published The LifeStream Cookbook and sold over 125,000 copies. Business was good, with annual sales of $9 million.
