I know you have been asked this before, but I have a soy sensitivity that is particularly devastating when I eat soy oil and soy lecithin. Lecithin likes to hide everywhere, and many companies still don’t understand that non-protein containing forms of soy can be bad (even for people with allergies) , so could you just verify that when I see natural flavors on any of your packaging, that they will not contain soy lecithin? Thanks!

Hi Kat and thanks for taking the time to ask us your question. Our toaster pastries don’t include soy as an ingredient however, we can’t absolutely confirm that there isn’t soy oil or soy lecithin as the exact composition used in the natural flavors is considered proprietary information by the supplier. Organic strawberry flavor is also used in the filling (our organic flavors are fruit, spice or plant based). We also don’t use MSG, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives in any of our organically certified foods. All the best, Justine, Nature’s Path Team.

My kids an I LOVE your toaster pastries and wondered what happened to them at Costco? We purchased them at least once a month cause it’s one of our favorite quick breakfast items (and sometimes a snack). Will you please bring them back to Costco Wholesale stores?!! We live in SW Washington/Portland Oregon area.
Thanks for getting in touch
Submitted by Jamie on August 30, 2011 - 09:42.
Thanks for getting in touch with us Larissa! I love the Costco packs myself and found our local Costco wasn’t carrying them for awhile either. This is because some Costco’s carry the same products while others rotate products. You’ll still find our toaster pastries at the same Costcos, it’s just that you’ll only find them every couple of months. I suggest calling your local Costco to find out when they’re getting in the next shipment of these awesome toaster pastries. That way you can get in there the day of and buy a couple of boxes to last you and your family awhile. All the best Larissa! Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

Thank you for your product, I am thrilled that it does not contain and soy. Finding products without soy as most of your other items do is nearly impossible. For my 10 year old son who has soy, tree nuts, and sesame seed allergies, we are thankful for at least one of your products being safe for him. He likes feeling like he can have a normal snack or breakfast to bring to a friends house. If you have any coupons, I would greatly appreciate it, finding safe snacks is an expensive endeavor for our family!

I like to shop at the Whole Foods Market in my city and places like Loblaws. I was wondering if the Toaster Pastries are sold here? I really enjoy this product
Submitted by Evan (not verified) on April 18, 2011 - 08:06.
I really enjoy this product and can tell that there is a significant difference between a Nature’s Path toaster pastry and a Pop Tart. Anyone should be able to tell that Nature’s Path pastries make you feel like your eating something fresh and real, as if it were from a bakery, whereas Pop Tarts make you feel like you’re eating pure junk.
The one problem I had with Nature’s Path pastries was that they carried no whole grain toaster pastries. I felt this was a downer because even though I am a sweet tooth I enjoy to have some fiber (at least 4-5g) or other nutrients while I am eating any food, regardless of being a toaster pastry or a healthier snack. For example, ice cream has calcium and a little protein as well. Pop Tarts carry a whole grain selection so I think Nature’s Path should be able to do so as well.
Thanks! ~Evan

Hi Evan and thanks for sharing your suggestion with us. Whole grain toaster pastries are a fantastic idea! Please note that the following ingredients we use are all whole grain: Oat flakes,
Oat Flour,
Whole Wheat Meal,
Brown Rice Flour,
Sprouted Kernels
Millet,
Quinoa
Amaranth,
Spelt,
Kamut,
Corn (Leapin’ Lemurs, Vanilla + Maple Sunrise Crunch products only)
and Buckwheat flour
Barley Flour. The following ingredients aren’t whole grain: Rice bran,
Oat bran, and
Wheat bran.
