Yummy! I heart Peanut Buddies. I know the bar says “wheat free” but are they gluten free? My husband has a gluten allergy and has been salivating watching me eat these bars. He wants one too!
Thanks for any info,

Hi Roxy and Susan! Thanks so much for taking the time to write to us. Nature’s Path Granola and Granola Bars are not gluten free due to the oats. While the protein in oats does not do damage, the concern is the possibility of cross contamination of a gluten containing grain in the field or during the milling process. Therefore, at this time in North America most oats are not acceptable in a gluten free diet. All my best, Heather, Brand Ambassador, Hemp Plus Granola lover
The new bars don’t seem to

The new bars don’t seem to have made it to our locale yet or the stores that used to carry the old pb chunky bar aren’t stocking it. I’ll have to reserve judgement until I’ve tried them. I always kept a supply on hand.
Hi there! Glad to hear that

Hi there! Glad to hear that you are interested in our Peanut Buddy Bars. As Nature’s Path makes over 80 different products, some stores cannot fit our whole range of products on their shelves. We recommend phoning ahead to check on the store’s current stock, as products can change daily. You can also ask them to place a special order for you. Yeah, you made the box smaller, but you made the bar smaller too, (1.4 oz to 1.2 oz), but not the cost. I am so sick and tired of you companies doing this! You just lost a loyal customer.

Hey there, thanks for your feedback. We have changed the boxes in an effort to be more sustainable. Proving that good things really do come in small packages, you now receive an extra 10 grams of product per box, with no price increase. In fact, the new boxes are packaged in a more sustainable box using 36% less cardboard, saving 472,000 gallons of water and tons of waste every year. Considering the price one

Considering the price one would expect a much larger, tastier product. Frankly I’m guite appalled to call a granola bar a “Buddy” & that goes double for one that tastes like sawdust.
Hi Theresa, thank you for

As a fan of our granola bars, you’ve probably noticed some changes. Our packaging, recipe and even names have changed. I thought you might want to know why. You’ll note our Peanut bars are now called “Peanut Buddy”. Hey, we can all use friends with roasted peanuts and chewy, moist peanut butter – especially when there’s more than before (an idea we got from talking to you – thanks!). There’s also more good stuff like essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids and protein, all with whole grains. You might’ve noticed the boxes are smaller, too. About a third smaller, in fact, so every year that’s thousands of gallons of water and tons of waste saved. What do you think of them? We’re really excited about them, but you are the real judges! Let us know how we’re doing! Rosy, Head of Granola Bars at Nature’s Path Organic Foods
