Hi there and thanks for pointing this out to us. We’re sorry for this mistake and any confusion it might’ve caused. This oatmeal contains 150 calories per serving. Hi Curls - Great question,

Hi Curls - Great question, thank you for asking! :) The correct number of calories per packet of Optimum Cinnamon Blueberry Flaxseed Oatmeal is 150. We have verified the calories for the other varieties of oatmeals and they do vary between 150-210 calories per packet. Was there a certain variety that you were interested in better understanding? ~Jessica

This package contains

This package contains incorrect allergy information. The ingredients list on the box does not list nuts as an ingredient. It does state that it is produced in a facility or on shared equipment. I purchased the product for my nut allergic kid who rejected it stating that it made his throat feel funny. We then read the individual oatmeal package which also lists ingredients, and says it may contain peanuts and tree nuts! I would never have purchased this product if this information was on the actual box! Why are the oatmeal packages labeled differently that the exterior packaging? I read labels closely to determine what is safe for my family, and I have never experienced this discrepancy before. To avoid similar issues, I hope you will resolve this problem asap.

Hi there and thanks for

Hi there and thanks for reaching out to us. We’re really sorry you and your son have had this experience. We didn’t intend to mislead or misinform you about the issue of allergen cross contamination but I can understand how the different phrasing of these two disclaimers can be confusing. We apologize for the discrepency between the ingredients list on the box and on the individual packets. Your comments regarding the printing error have been passed onto the Marketing Department and the appropriate changes will be made in the next packaging print run if necessary. To clarify, because we use peanuts, nuts, soy or dairy in some of our facilities, we print a disclaimer stating “produced in a facility that uses peanuts, tree nuts, dairy or soy”. We say this because we want to let you know that due to risk of cross contamination, this product may contain traces of peanuts, tree nuts, dairy or soy, despite there not being any of these items as a listed ingredient. For those with serious allergies to any of these ingredients in the disclaimer, we don’t recommend consuming this product. In addition, please contact Nicolette, Consumer Services, using our contact form here: http://www.naturespath.com/contact-us, and she can help make this right. All the best, Justine, Nature’s Path Team

Hi Nancy and thanks for reaching out to us. While we set a suggested retail price, it’s up to the store to determine the final selling price which is why you might find a difference between Lucky’s, Raley’s and Whole Foods Market. If you’re in the United States, you can order this oatmeal online from Amazon.com at discounted prices. If online shopping isn’t your thing, I’d advise you get in touch with Nicolette, Consumer Services, using our contact form here: http://www.naturespath.com/contact-us, who can help you find where this oatmeal is near you. I am a Peace Corps volunteer serving in Thailand. Here they eat spicy fish and boiled rice for breakfast…. not terrible, but definitely not my first choice. On a recent trip to Bangkok, I found this oatmeal and I am LOVING it, esp if I add a pinch of salt… Could use more blueberries—the first packet I opened only had 2. However, I must say I will be terribly disappointed next week when the box is ‘mot leeo’ (empty) coz my next trip to Bangkok won’t be for MONTHS.

Hi Mali and thanks so much

Hi Mali and thanks so much for getting in touch with us! We’re so glad you found this oatmeal and funny to think you had to go to Thailand to find it! We’re so sorry that you experienced this though. The blueberries are added by a mechanical feeder which we are now diligently fixing so that it adds a consistent amount of blueberries to each pack. As per our quality gaurantee, please complete our contact form (http://www.naturespath.com/contact-us) and Nicolette will reimburse you for your purchase. Take care, Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

I tasted this product for the first time while visiting family in the US and it is the best oatmeal I have tasted. For years I have been buying highly processed oatmeals for convenience and cannot believe my luck to now have taste, convenience and nutrition in one packet! Unfortunately I live in Ireland where I can’t buy it but I have my cousin send me boxes of this product every month. Just wanted to thank you all for making these great products!

The majority of our promotions can be found on our website, Twitter account and Facebook account, so if you’re not already a fan of ours on Twitter or Facebook, please do so. We sometimes have coupons inside our product boxes so be sure to check inside the box before you throw it away and you can sometimes find coupons inside of health and natural food magazines. I love this cereal.  I’m

I love this cereal.  I’m impressed that this message board is monitored, so I thought I would offer two quick suggestions.  First, I’m a diabetic, so I’m always looking for products with high protein and low carb content.  I like this cereal because the smaller portion size has a smaller carb content than some of your other oatmeal products.  But I think you would find a willing market if you explore other options to provide lower carb products.  My second quick suggestion is that it would be great if you provide pressure to your retailers to carry more of your product line.  My local grocery store keeps changing which products it carries, and sadly, they no longer carry this particular oatmeal.  I realize this is very much out of your control, but please accept this customer feedback of one to let your retailers know that a consistent product offering is essential in building customer loyalty, and hence, revenue.  Thanks!

Hi Ed and thanks for sharing

Hi Ed and thanks for sharing you feedback with us. I will definitely forward your suggestion about a lower carb product to our R&D team. Also, I suggest you ask your local retailer to order in a product for you. Most stores dedicated to customer service and loyalty will do this. Also, check your local health food store, a lot of them will carry a full line of our products. All the best Ed, Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

I have tried your products

I have tried your products before and have been quite happy with them, however, my current box of Optimum Cinnamon Blueberry Flaxseed hot cereal does not contain said product which is disappointing. There are little orange coloured pieces in some of the packets which I believe may be apple but the taste itself is rather flat, other packets don’t seem to have anything added. The bar code reads 58448 45013 and the inside flap reads 487679 1 G10465_CDN. Hopefully you can discover what went wrong and perhaps down the road I will try them again. PS Where can I buy chococonut granola bars in Victoria BC?

Like you I also suffer from a sensitive stomach so with Nature’s Path being organic their products don’t contain artificial preservatives, additives or genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and the ingredients are not grown with toxic pesticides, chemical fertilizers or fumigants. This can give our stomach a break! Thanks again for your comment Jody, we really appreciate it! Take care, Jamie, Nature’s Path Team
