I just had some of this oatmeal and wanted to look up other products because of how delicious it is. I disagree with the below comments about the sugar. Unlike most other instant oatmeals, this one has the perfect balance of sweet. I like to add cinnamon to mine. Thanks!

i also love this oatmeal and eat it most mornings. i wanted to let you know that i would also love it with less sugar…under 5 grams per serving would be great, and i am not diabetic…just trying to reduce the sugar in my diet. i think the serving size is perfect and it tastes great, but would also love a bit more hemp seeds in it. Keep up the good work! You guys make great products!

Thanks for getting in touch with us IsaBella! Our oatmeals do not contain soy as an ingredient, but they are made in a facility that uses soy in other products. Even though the facilities have strict cleaning procdures we want our consumers to know that there is a chance of cross contamination in case they have a serious life-threatening allergy. This is the best oatmeal/hot cereal I’ve ever tasted - just the right texture and sweetness, and I’m glad to get the hemp and flax in my diet.

I do love your oatmeal, but need to say that I am so disappointed that you’ve reduced the amount of product in each package. That was one of the main reasons I ate this oatmeal - I didn’t have to eat 2 packages to feel satisfied (and I’m a very small person who eats small portions). Now there is no reason not to try out other brands. Bummer.

Thanks for taking the time to write to us Andrea. We haven’t reduced the amount of oatmeal in each package - each packet has always contained 40 g. You may have noticed our packaging size has decreased, but there is still the same amount of goodness in each pack! Take care, Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

Hi Andrea and thanks for writing to us. We add this disclaimer to our packaging due to the chance of cross contamination. This granola does not contain wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, or soy ingredients; however, it does share equipment with wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, and soy. Although we use various cleaning methods such as rinsing, hot scrubber machines, vacuums and organic compliant cleaning solution followed by protein tests on the equipment, we feel it’s our obligation to inform customers of this possibility. We suggest you visit you medical practitioner to find out if you can add this product to your diet. I hope this helps! Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

The Hemp Plus Hot Oatmeal is very good. However, for my own health reasons (I am a diabetic), you could reduce the sugar in this product, and I would like it even better. And if it’s so good for you, why is there not more hemp seed in the product? The hemp seed comes after flax and before salt, so I think there’s not much of it per serving. Does hemp seed taste bad? Shouldn’t the flax seed be in flake form for an instant hot cereal?
Hello Gamgee, thank you for

Hello Gamgee, thank you for taking the time to write in to us. We will definitely put forward your suggestion of reduced sugars. Hemp seed is very nutritious, an ancient superfood with up to 35% protein, all 9 amino acids, and a distinctly nutty flavor. Our innovation team chose to complement the hemp taste and nutritional profile with other ingredients such as barley, salt and flax. While we have a huge appreciation for hemp, the availability of this superfood is limited to us as an ingredient largely in part to the fact that American farmers are not allowed to grow industrial hemp in the US. Consequently, we strictly rely on Canadian crops which limits our supply. The reason we add whole flax to this product instead of ground flax is because the ground or crushed variety can go rancid very quickly without preservatives or refridgeration. Please go here to find our more about our FlaxPlus Flaxseed Meal so you can sprinkle a little more on your hot oatmeal if you like:
