I LOVE this cereal, seriously LOVE it, but am trying to cut down on my sugar and find this cereal to be too sweet. Does anyone else feel the same? I think it’s a great idea to reduce the sugar content in cereals in general, and those that prefer a sweeter taste can add sweetener/added sugar/honey as they please, or even eat their cereal with chocolate or vanilla plain/soy/rice milk. I would definitely purchase more of this product if it were less sweet, but for now the Millet Rice Flakes (fruit juice sweetened) and the Flax Plus Multribran flakes have the perfect amount of sugar are in my cereal bowl every morning! : ) Thanks for taking the time to read my comment!

This is a GREAT cereal. This is an awesome and healthy alternative to cereals like Special K Red Berry and it has more wholesome and better quality ingredients than Kashi’s Strawberry Fields (my opinion). Plus it’s organic! Anyway, I highly recommend this breakfast cereal. It’s also worth saying that most boxes I buy (and I’ve bought a lot) I typically get a fair share of berries. My only complaint is that I can no longer find the double-pack at my local Costco, but they always have it at Whole Foods.

It’s my favorite cereal ever. Not too sweet, the right amount of fruit and flavor…usually…. Because when I opened my new box yesterday, I couldn’t find any berries!! Probably a production glitch. Well at least I still have the strawberry flavor. But still, I would have preferred in with berries!! Hopefully next time!

Hi Anna, I’m really happy that you love our Flax Plus Red Berry Crunch and am so sorry that your most recent box fell short of your expectations. We currently meter our cereals into the box with a vibratory feeder; so while the weight will be equal in every box, it’s hard to guarantee a uniform ratio of fruit to flakes. Because our products are organic, we don’t add the extra oils that non-organic companies do to keep the fruit from sticking together. This makes quality control extremely important when boxing cereals and we thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. Today I was looking for some cereal to eat. I see the Red Berry Crunch and ask my dad if he thinks it’s good. He said it was, so I tried it. I’m so glad I did! It’s incredible! Some of the BEST cereal I’ve ever had. It’s so flavorful and doesn’t have too much sugar at all. I’m big on healthy cereal that tastes good and you guys did it with this product. It’s my favorite out of everything ya’ll make!

As I type this, I am munching on your newest product, Flax Plus Red Berry Crunch and I am in heaven! It is some of the best cereal I have ever tried, and I am a cereal fanatic. The flakes in many of your cereals have such a distinct flavor that I love and they always leave me satisfied. Not only do I love your flax cereals, but I'm also a fan of your spelt and multigrain flakes, anything from the Optimum line, and your Heritage Granolas, especially the Pumpkin Flax Granola (yum!) Recently, I was very excited to try your new granola bars, which taste very real and homemade to me. I wish there were 6 bars in a box instead of 5! And I thought that I would never eat Pop Tarts again because of the high sugar content and other questionable ingredients, but after tasting your Cherry Pomegranate and Brown Sugar Maple Cinnamon Toaster Pastries, I fell in love again with a childhood favorite snack. They actually help keep me fueled while I am on long bike rides, but I much rather enjoy them out of the toaster oven. Beside from the great tastes, I applaud your efforts to reduce the size of your regular cereal boxes without reducing the amount of product inside. So much packaging ends up in our landfills, so I am glad to see that you are working on more environmentally friendly bag liners and using recycled cardboard. It has been such a refreshing treat to discover your products, and you can count on me for being a loyal customer. Keep up the good work!
