I am a diagnosed celiac sprue

I am a diagnosed celiac sprue sufferer. I feel in love with the gluten free cereal from Nature’s Path. After awhile I got lazy and grabbed this box and for once didn’t read the label past the “Wheat Free” logo on the front. That was a horrible mistake…after four days of extreme suffering, I learned that I must not slack in my reading and researching a product before consuming it. For us celiac’s a reaction from wheat, rye, barley, and some time oats can trigger a painful response. Beware Wheat free doesn’t mean GLUTEN free!

Thanks for your feedback,

Thanks for your feedback, Suffering Celiac. You will be pleased to know that Nature’s Path has many gluten-free options, including our Crunchy Maple Sunrise, Crunchy Vanilla Sunrise and Whole O’s. All my best, Heather, Brand Ambassador, Hemp Plus Granola lover

I have an illness which means

I have an illness which means that I can not eat yeast or sugar, but because your Millet Rice Cereal is only sweetened with Apple juice I am allowed it, and I love it! I do feel that this is a marketing opportunity that you are missing out on and maybe it would become more readily available (and cheaper) in the UK if this additional information was made obvious for consumers.

Hello Sam. Thanks so much

Is this cereal gluten free

Is this cereal gluten free and safe for people with celiac disease to eat?  I have been told that wheat free doesn’t necessarily mean gluten free. Cheers, Sam

Hello Sam! Our Millet Rice

Hello Sam! Our Millet Rice Flakes are not gluten free. Some of our best-selling gluten-free cereals include our Crunchy Maple Sunrise, Crunchy Vanilla Sunrise, Crispy Rice, Honey’d corn Flakes and Whole O’s. That being said, if you are highly gluten sensitive it is best to check with your health care provider before making any changes to your diet. All the best, Heather, Brand Ambassador, Hemp Plus Granola lover

it’s very difficult to get hold of MR in derbyshire, uk, where I live. Sainsbury’s have stopped selling it and holland and barrett and other health food shops are always out of it. Any ideas? Very frustrating.

In the fall of 2006 I was

In the fall of 2006 I was working on a Congressional campaign in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was an intensely close race, which left little time for sleeping, let alone eating. Fortunately, during that time I was introduced to Nature's Path cereals! I kept a box on my desk for the duration of the campaign, and am convinced that I never would have survived without the countless bowls of cereal I consumed between August and November. You, no doubt deserve part of the credit in Patrick Murphy's victory! Since then, I don't think I've begun a single day without a giant bowl of Millet Rice flakes (which I was thrilled to find in bulk, economy-sized bags here in Seattle!). Thanks for all of your delicious, healthy products and for your dedication to sustainable living. Lauren, Seattle, WA

Orange-Scented Goji Berry Scones

Orange zest is the secret ingredient here, scenting these easy-to-prepare golden scones. Health-promoting goji berries are rich in antioxidants and have been used by Chinese herbalists for thousands of years. You can substitute raisins, dried cranberries, or dried currants, if you prefer.

At Nature’s Path we recommend you use organic ingredients whenever possible.
