I LOVE this product!! It’s

I LOVE this product!! It’s like an addiction for me. Seriously. I’ve been eating 2-3 boxes of it a week for the past 3 or 4 years, and if I buy it at the local org grocery, I buy in bulk! I know, I’m a sick man. I don’t have a problem with milk, although I will eat it with almond milk or rice milk, but nothing beats organic milk with this granola. Just the right amount of milk cuts the sweetness, and if you let it sit for a few minutes and eat it slowly, by the end of the bowl it has a taste and texture that just slays me. But woe is me, my wife and I are on the GI diet, for health purposes, so I’m trying to find a Nature’s Path alternative - so far the best for me is the Optimum Slim. The Optimum Blueberry Cinnamon, however, leaves something to be desired. The cereal is good, but since the first bowl I’ve been picking out the blueberries and replacing them with organic sun-dried blueberries. The freeze dried berries turn the milk blue and I feel like I’m eating a little kid’s cereal (one on a bad diet. I know, I know, it’s not BooBerry), and the berries just don’t cut it flavor wise. Frankly, I’m surprised that NP would use these in the product. Sun-dried blueberries anyone? But hey, all that blueberry stuff aside, the Pumpkin Granola is, to me, the best cold cereal/granola ever! And when we do allow ourselves a bit of a treat it is what I’ll choose, to be sure. The only reason I would say lower the sugar, is so I could have it more often - but then again, I think it’s perfect. I could never get sick of this granola. Mmmm….Pumpkin Granola….

i have the same question as

i have the same question as many others. does the product explicitly contain gluten, or do you say it’s not gluten-free just because of the oats? i, like many others, am ok with oats but not gluten. please clarify. thank you. bp

I love the Pumpkin Flax Plus

I love the Pumpkin Flax Plus Granola. I just wish it had less sugar. It’s a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I’ll try what another customer mentioned and mix it with another cereal to dilute the total sugar content.

Hi, thanks for taking the

Hi, thanks for taking the time to write. Even though we use a variety of organic sweeteners such as honey, cane juice, grape juice, maple syrup and even agave nectar, sweetness is sometimes a matter of personal taste. Mixing cereals sounds like a great suggestion to still enjoy a delicious granola, just how you like it. All the best, Leah, Nature’s Path Brand Ambassador.

I agree on the sugar, it’s

I agree on the sugar, it’s too much. I would love it if it had about half as much sugar. I tend to eat the granola with plain rice milk to dilute the flavor. If I use cow’s milk, it’s much too rich. I wonder if the company would consider making a low glycemic alternative? If this stuff were sweetened with agave nectar, it’d be perfect!

This granola sounds great,

This granola sounds great, but I bought it for the pumpkin and omega-3 and there are very few pumpkin seeds per serving and the omega-3 flax is whole not ground which is indigestible, and it contains way too much sugar/fat. It should be called Oat/Sugar/Soy oil Granola.

My husband and daughter loves

My husband and daughter loves Pumpkin Flaxplus granola cereal. I am not happy with that because I don’t get enough. I told my husband I would love to sell this product - but he said we would eat all before we sell any. Wonderful cereal. I think it is the best - low sugar - high fiber - and pumpkin seeds which are good for everything. Please, I want it in Antigua and Barbuda - I only get it every quarter when my family sends food stuff.

My children enjoy your Hemp

My children enjoy your Hemp Plus cereal, but with 10 grams of sugar per serving, it’s almost as bad as the commercial cereals aimed at kids. My one daughter even finds it a bit too sweet and has to switch to another cereal every once in a while. My question is, why in a natural, healthy brand/type of cereal is there so much sugar? Thanks. This is my favorite cereal.

We picked up Pumpkin Flax

We picked up Pumpkin Flax Plus recently and I must say that this granola/cereal is absolutely amazing! The taste is awesome! Our family eats it with organic soy milk and I find that we have to ration it. If we don’t, we run out almost as fast as we can buy it! I pass it out at work for people to munch on. Good stuff! Keep up the good work!

To those alarmed by the high

To those alarmed by the high fat content, don’t let it turn you off. Most of the fat in this product comes in the form of mono and polyunsaturated fat - types of lipids that you want to be consuming in higher volumes than saturated ones. As long as you realize that this granola is very energy dense (lots of calories per volume of food), it can make a great addition to any healthy diet. Enjoy it sparingly! :)

Hi there, This is a fantastic granola—- no coconut, no nut, just plain but excellent taste you can add to yoghurt or whatever. However, why is it so high in fat? And even though Wal Mart is kind of a weird place in my view: They sell it for only $2.98, so I don’t have to go to Whole Foods anymore and pay their crazy price.

It’s definitely granola! We have some great lower fat cereals, if you’re worried about fat content (though much of the fat content in the granola is the healthy Omega-3 kind). Try our Optimum Slim! Best, Kylie

I bought the Pumpkin Flax

I bought the Pumpkin Flax Plus Granola from Costco today and was disappointed when I opened the box. It looks nothing like the packaging. It’s a mediocre granola that looks like little pieces of mushed up oats, very few pumpkin seeds in the mix. Will not buy this brand again, total waste of money.

More specifics on the gluten

More specifics on the gluten free question please! Hi, There are different schools of thought about oats in a gluten free diet. Is this not considered gluten-free because it has oats or because it might have cross-contaminants? I ask because I have celiac disease and don’t eat gluten, but I can eat oats. Thanks!

What happened???? I thought

What happened???? I thought the pumpkin granola used to have 5 grams of sugar and much lower fat grams? I have been buying this granola for years, I love it. But, I was shocked this morning when I looked at the nutrition information again. It’s so hard to find a good granola that is low in both sugar and fat. Is it just me, or did this granola used to be healthier??

Don’t worry, the granola is just as healthy! The recipe you know and love for our Granola is the same as before. The change is due to new government serving size regulations for all granola products. (Previously 30 g, 1/2 cup now 55g, ¾ cup).

Don’t worry! The recipe you know and love for our Granola is the same as before. The change is due to new government serving size regulations for all granola products. (Previously 30 g, 1/2 cup now 55g, ¾ cup). Also, as you know, we only use organic ingredients in our granola, so the nutrition will fluctuate depending on various factors, such as crop conditions, climate, etc.

I wish this came in larger

I wish this came in larger packaging! We also love the new Agave Plus. Only problem is the small size. I understand chunky granola coming in a small package, but this is really like a cereal—we go through lots of it, too. Please consider making larger sizes so people like me don’t have to stock up on many boxes at a time! Thank you for making terrific, tasty products!

This is sold in large boxes

This is sold in large boxes at Costco for somewhere around $7.50/box and I *think* it’s more than 2 of the smaller boxes (i.e. more than 23 oz, but I could be wrong). We live on this stuff.

My husband and I love the granolas, we eat if as a snack quite often right out of the box. It would be great if you could make it in a lower fat version.

I am writing to you because I

I am writing to you because I LOVE the Hemp Plus & Pumpkin Granolas! I've had a couple other cereals of yours before, but these two are by far my favorite. (I guess I'm just a granola girl!) I recently discovered the Hemp Plus Granola, catching one of the local grocers on one of those "off" days where they actually stock something a consumer would REALLY want if only they could ever find it on the shelves! (I went to two different grocery stores last night: no dice. Oh, well. :) ) Anyway, the granolas are delicious; I wanted to offer my compliments & gratitude. :) Thank you for everything: for your deep respect for this world — the natural environment, and our physical & spiritual health & happiness; for helping business folk who care about environmental & health ethics to uphold these values, produce only good things for this world, & make a living doing so (from the farmers to the ink & cardboard manufacturers!); & for your general positive energy & love! :) Please keep making delicious, nutritious, wonderfully good foods! Please continue to reduce packaging & to use packaging made from renewable, biodegradable (or, better yet: compostable!), organic resources that are produced environmentally safely. Hi there, This is a fantastic

Hi there, This is a fantastic granola—- no coconut, no nut, just plain but excellent taste you can add to yoghurt or whatever. However, why is it so high in fat? And even though Wal Mart is kind of a weird place in my view: They sell it for only $2.98, so I don’t have to go to Whole Foods anymore and pay their crazy price.

is this a granola? I thought

is this a granola? I thought it was cereal. Anyway it is so good with milk! I also wish it was lower in fat. I was quit shocked to see that it had 10 grams of fat.

It’s definitely granola! We

Will not buy this brand again, total waste of money.

is this cereal gluten free?

is this cereal gluten free?

Sorry, this product isn’t

Sorry, this product isn’t gluten free but we do have many gluten free products for you to try! Try the Whole O’s! They’re fantastic. Best, Kylie

Don’t worry, the granola is

Don’t worry, the granola is just as healthy! The recipe you know and love for our Granola is the same as before. The change is due to new government serving size regulations for all granola products. (Previously 30 g, 1/2 cup now 55g, ¾ cup).

I agree the nutritionals have changed. Is it a change in the recipe or did they incease the serving size from 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup?

My husband and I love the
