This is my daily go-to cereal. It has a nice, hearty flavor, almost with smoky undertones, but it’s not so intense that you’ll get sick of it if you eat it every day. The crunch holds up well in milk, and it will keep you feeling full for a while. Nice, interesting mix of grains. A nice standby cereal, but not boring.

I am 56 years old and have eaten cold cereal my entire life. I wanted to drop
you a line to say I just tried the Nature’s Path Heritage Flakes this week
and have been enjoying it very much. The flavor, texture and health benefits
make it my new favorite cereal.

They changed the formula. Now with 1% LESS Fiber, 2% LESS Vitamin A, 2% LESS iron and 1% LESS salt.
Guess they are cutting expenses and passing the reduced health benefits and reduced fiber onto us. Seems unfair.

Thanks for your comment! We actually haven’t changed the formula. Because we only use organic ingredients in our cereals, the nutrition fluctuates naturally depending on various factors, including crop conditions, climate, growing location, ingredient nutrition etc. Therefore, the nutrition on the boxes is an average of the testing conducted. In order to make sure our nutrition values remain accurate over time, we also try to retest yearly, which can lead to a change on the nutrition panel even when we haven’t changes the formula.

I have been eating this cereal or the PC equivalent for many years. It is not too sweet, and has some amazing ingredients. I find that most cereals don’t ‘stay’ with me long, but this one keeps me satiated for a few hours, at least!!
