I have a number of food

I have a number of food allergies (cane sugar, eggs, gluten, dairy, bananas, kidney beans, cranberries, asparagus) and was extremely pleased to find your fruit juice sweetened corn flakes. My primary concern here is the $10 per bag that I have to spend to eat them. I’m wondering why they are so much more expensive than your boxed cereals? I understand that the size is slightly larger and organic produce is more costly, but $10 for cereal?

Hi there and thanks for

Hi there and thanks for asking us this question. We’re so glad to hear you’ve found a cereal that fits your health needs— from the sounds of it, it must be tough to find something that works! While we set a suggested retail price for our products, it’s up to the retailer to determine the final selling price. If you provide us more info on where you live and what store you shop from, we can have our sales rep in the area look into the pricing. To do this, please contact Nicolette, Consumer Services, using our contact form here: http://www.naturespath.com/contact-us. All the best, Justine, Nature’s Path Team

Hi Vickey and thanks for taking the time to ask us this question. This cereal doesn’t contain any soy ingredients, however it does share equipment with soy. We do an extensive planning and cleaning schedule for all our production facilities in order to prevent any cross contamination of our products with non-declared ingredients. However, we share government regulator opinion that if there’s a remote chance of cross contamination, that we should let you know of this possibility. All the best, Justine, Nature’s Path Team

I first saw it in my university’s mini-mart years ago, but for several months now I haven’t been able to find it in grocery stores, even in stores where I used to find it. My son loves your corn flakes

My son loves your corn flakes and honey’d corn flakes, but he does have a soy allergy, I read your ingredients, and they only state made in the same facility, I just wanted to make sure because I made the mistake and purchased organic corn flakes from another company that did not have soy listed on the web page as an ingredient but when I recieved my boxes of cereal and my son ate them he didn’t feel well after and I though I better double check the box and sure enough on the box under the ingredients in a seperate paragraph in italics they had it listed as~Contains soy (in corn)…..So I really need to make sure that there is not any soy in your corn. Thank you for your time.

I am on a search for an

I am on a search for an unsweetened organic cereal and just finished going through your entire lineup. Not one of your many cereals is without some form of sweetener, whether it be honey, evaporated cane juice, fruit juice, or molasses. I’ve found the same trend with other organic brands. What is this all about? I’ve had organic cereal in the past that was unsweetened and it was delicious. Do you distrust your formulations so much that you feel the need to dump flavoring into the mix, or is it that you’re attempting to entice the sugar-addicted population into switching to an organic version of conventional cereals? Either way, I find it quite disturbing, and from reading comments on your website and those of other producers, I’m far from the only one upset by this unhealthy and misleading policy. There are many people who cannot tolerate sugar in any form or who are trying to eliminate unneccesary sweetener from their diets, or who just don’t like sweet food. I can’t imagine why you couldn’t simply reformulate one or two of your cereals without sweetener. Please take this suggestion into serious consideration. If you do this, I will be your first customer! Thank you, Clare Brady

Hi Clare, thank you for

Hi Clare, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. At Nature’s Path, our products come at a variety of sweetness levels. Regarding the sugar in some of our products, please note that as an alternative to organic evaporated cane juice (raw sugar), we also use organic sweeteners such as grape juice and pear juice in our cereals. If you’re looking for an organic, sugar free cereal, I’d suggest trying our Rice Puffs, Millet Puffs, Kamut Puffs, Corn Puffs, or our Original Hot Oatmeal. As we deeply value the opinions of our customers, your feedback has been passed along to our Brand Manager who will review the nutritional comments that you’ve brought forward. Regards, Emily from Nature’s Path

Grapes and apples are two of

Grapes and apples are two of the fastest rising allergies in children (at least you use pear juice, a close relative to apples - I wonder if pears are any better?). Can this be made without ” any ” type of sugar? My doctor (a Naturopath) tells me that all glucoses work as “allergen boosters”. Sugars boost allergens , “in ways that are similar to the way that alcohol boost the effects of pharmaceuticals” (!).
