I wondered if Nature’s Path makes an unsweetened or less sweetened version of Gorilla Munch. Right now I take Gorilla Munch and mix it with the Puffed Corn cereal; the difference in the size of the cereals can make mixing a challenge, but we manage. I try to find a way to cut the amount of sugars we consume, and this is how I give my family the taste they like while watching the diet. I used to add a General Mills brand that’s similar to Gorilla Munch and has less sugars (3 grams vs. G.Munch’s 8 grams per serving), but I stopped mainly out of concern that they may be using GMO corn. I really like your bag cereals, thanks for your products.

I’m wondering if these can be used as a replacement for popcorn? Say I lay out a tray of Corn puffs, drizzle 1 tblsp of Olive Oil, mix it all up to make sure the puffs are lightly coated and ‘toast’ (bake) them for a few minutes, then take em out of the oven and sprinkle 2 tblsp of white cheddar popcorn flavouring and a dash of tobasco sauce? Mmmm the very thought is making me drool!

Making corn puffs is actually a lot like making stove-top popcorn. Our corn puffs are super healthy because their only ingredient is the whole organic kernel itself - which is puffed up with steam pressure and high heat. Moisture is extracted from the puffed kernel through a drying and cooling process to render the corn puffs fit for packaging and ready for you to enjoy! Hope this answers your question Ang. Are they gluten free too? I noticed the only ingredient was organic whole corn so they should be but it in the information section it does not say gluten free. Any information that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tennille, thanks for the great question. Our puffed bagged cereals (puffed rice, puffed millet, puffed corn & puffed Kamut®) are not gluten free because they may be cross contaminated in the factory where they are produced. If you’re following a gluten free diet, you can check here for our gluten free products: http://www.naturespath.com/eat-well/gluten-free-celiac-diet. All the best, Leah, Nature’s Path Brand Ambassador.

Hi Leah, thank you so much for getting back to me and for clarifying this my two children and I follow a strict gluten free diet so I always like to be sure of things rather than just assume. Again, thanks for your response. I am very impressed with the variety of products you offer and am happy to spread the word to others as I am a very satisfied customer. Keep those great products coming. Happy Holidays! Tennille
