The box of this cereal that I just finished contained a total of 9 blueberries. The same thing applies to some of your other products. The amount of fruit in your products seems to have been reduced recently. I still like the products, but not as well as before. The name seems deceptive when only 9 berries are in a box.

I am sorry that your cereal did not contain enough of the delicious blueberries. We meter them into the box by weight from a vibratory feeder. At times the blueberries join together. Non-organic companies use extra chemicals to separate the fruit which can impact their nutrition negatively. You’ll be happy to know that we’re bringing in new fruit feeder equipment designed to greatly improve our consistency! All the best, Heather, Brand Ambassador, Hemp Plus Granola lover

Optimum® Blueberry Cinnamon Cereal rocks!
Picked it up randomly one day at Costco after reading the nutrition label and realizing it won’t kill me as quickly as eating fast food at drive throughs for breakfast. Have lost six pounds in just a few weeks eating this and trying to eat balanced food the rest of the day too. Please keep this formula for sale until I am 103! Only 56 years to go …

After being disappointed with the new Blueberry Cinnamon blend for awhile, I’ve found that I like it more than the old. I visited the site because I suddenly can’t find Optimum Blueberry Cinnamon at King Soopers (Kroger) stores in the Denver area and I was worried that it was discontinued. It might be a good idea to have a list of chains where you can buy these products on this site. King Soopers has never carried some of the other flavors that get even higher ratings than Blueberry. Safeway has never carried Optimum here in Colorado. Thanks for your wonderful products, but it’s too bad you can’t push them onto the shelves a bit more.

Hi, first of all i like your cereal its really good my only complaint would be that on some websites its still listed as having vitamin b12 and folic acid, including amazon. As a vegetarian I started eating this cereal thinking I was obtaining my b12 and folic acid too later find out it wasnt so. Just something for you to take notice. Thank you.

Please, please, please bring back the original Optimum Power!!! The new version may have less sugar, but to me it seems so sickeningly sweet, and the cinnamon is just not at all pleasant. It is definintely NOT the same great taste as promised on the box. I just threw out the rest of my “improved” box - just can’t eat this stuff. I’m truly disappointed.

I love this cereal but why is the inside bag so difficult to open? No other cereal has a bag that is super tough to open and then when you apply a little bit of force it awkwardly explore sending flax and flakes everywhere. I have this issue with every box I buy. Please please please change the inside bag. I’ll still buy the cereal but it would be nicer if opening it was such an arduous affair.

I absolutely fell in love with the original Optimum Power & everyone I’ve shared it with feels the same. I loved it for breakfast, especially with additional fresh or frozen blueberries, or any other time right out of the box…it’s the only cereal I’ve ever loved as a “snack”—-& the Blueberry Cinnamon version is pale in comparison. What was the reason for the new version? The only plus I can see is slightly less sugar…but I’d be happy to consume the extra 3g if I could have my Optimum Power back…

Hi, I’m sure you’re tired of ‘hearing’ this as you seem to ‘hear’ it all the time, according to the vast number of similar comments on this website, but please bring back the original Optimum Power Breakfast Cereal. I have tried the new version, but it pales greatly in comparison. There just isn’t the same consistency or amount of fibre in this new un-improved version. I loved the original Optimum Power Breakfast cereal and it was the only breakfast cereal that I actually made a point of buying at the supermarket. Now, I don’t even purchase Nature’s Path products. I understand that you wanted to make it more ‘digestible’ for some consumers, but wouldn’t the smart business move be to ‘corner the market’ by having both the original and new version on store shelves? Just a thought as I hate to see an incredible health product just vanish into thin air.

I wish you hadn’t reformulated Optimum Power. The flavour’s still there, but the cereal strands are wrong, wrong, wrong. They’re too hard. They’re just not right in the mouth. Really rattles me first thing in the AM. What are they made of… wheat paste, no bran? The original strands were perfect. Why do manufacturers always mess with a good thing?

Something is fishy here. I noticed while reading this web-site’s “Our Story” page that in the year 2000 Optimum Power hit the markets and as your page tells us “Optimum™ Power was a huge success and became the #1 organic cereal in North America in a matter of months”. Why only 9 years later is it gone? I’d like to know more about this reply from Teah, N.P’s ambassador: “Optimum Power was changed to make it even healthier by lowering the sugar content, increasing protein & making the fiber content more digestible. In addition, organic foods have to abide by strict government rules about the addition of synthetic nutrients or the food would not be considered 100 % organic, therefore we need to make sure that all of the ingredients we use are organic and on occasion certain ingredients are more available than others” What ingredients are you talking about? Can someone tell me what “synthetic ingredients” where in the former and good tasting “Organic” Optimum Power. Did those ingredients pose a health threat to consumers? And what ingredients are no longer available that warrant no further production of a cereal that seemed to be very poplular?
