Kickapoo County Fair

The all-weekend event will feature organic farm tours, farmers and farm animals, a "Word" tent*, sustainability workshops, nature walks, Butter Churn Bike Tour, food and artisan vendors, not-for-profit exhibitors, family "farm-friendly" activities, all-day music and entertainment (singer/songwriter Brett Dennon is our headlining musical act Saturday night), and lots of dancing.  And we’re very excited to announce a stellar line-up of organic rock stars Tim Lasalle, Ken Cook and Ronnie Cummins on our Sunday afternoon keynote panel, with the possible addition of Sandra Steingraber. What it all boils down to is a really fun celebration of sustainability, Kickapoo-style, and an event that draws our core organic consumer from both the region and from markets as far away as Chicago, Madison and Minneapolis; this year we’re anticipating 8,000 attendees.
