Social Sustainability Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Social Sustainability Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Director, Sustainability and Stewardship, the successful applicant will be responsible for: 1. Creation and management of a Corporate Donations Program that meets Nature’s Path’s goals and aligns with our Management Values statement • Work effectively with NP’s internal marketing, finance, operations and sales team to execute on the Corporate Donations. • Provide support to cause-related marketing campaigns including our Gardens for Good and Put your Compassion into Action programs • Revise the process for inflow of corporate donation requests to most effectively meet our customer needs while aligning with the company’s goals/objectives and values. • Manage the administration of corporate donations including the EnviroKidz Grants • Leverage donation partnerships for mutual benefit • Provide external communications on company donations and strategic philanthropic partnerships. 2. Creation and administration of a Team Member Volunteer program that effectively motivates employees while aligning with Nature’s Path expectations for social impact as well as company objectives • Research best practices for company Volunteer programs and develop a program that is best suited to Nature’s Path • Consult with internal stakeholders to ensure the Volunteer program drives social impact while at the same time supports team members to continue to drive business objectives • Organize and manage company volunteer events that match company values while meeting community needs at each of our locations • Manage the progress of the Volunteer program, measure success, gather feedback and report these findings to core management. 3. Creation and management of a Health & Wellness program for team members that supports Nature’s Path’s goals of fostering a healthy work force • Define what Health and Wellness means to Nature’s Path by gathering feedback from internal stakeholders and then develop a program to support that definition • Ensure the implementation of this program company-wide to establish a common understanding among Nature’s Path Team Members and to ensure equal access to the benefits of the program • Be an ambassador for Health and Wellness and represent the best interests of Nature’s Path • Create initiatives to support the Health and Wellness program. • Gather feedback from team members on a regular basis to assess the success of the program

Requirements: 

Success in this role will require: • 3-5 years related experience; development and implementation of employee engagement programs an asset • University degree preferably with an emphasis in Organizational Development, Sustainability and/or Communications • Knowledge of and experience with environmental and corporate social responsibility issues and metrics • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat •
