Our new home office opened in Richmond, BC, in the original LifeStream building. First order of business: install a large organic garden and composting system at the back of the property. It quickly became the office "water-cooler," where staff could unwind at the end of a hectic workday. Second order of business: hire Dag Falck in the newly-created position of Organic Program Manager. Dag works to boost our connection with organic farmers and help conventional farmers learn about the benefits of organic farming. It was a very good year for organics.
